Participation in the seminar within the project “Subnational Gender Equality: Balance of EU Values and Ukrainian Realities” – a step towards strengthening international scientific cooperation (16.06.2022, online)
On 16 June 2022, a seminar within the framework of the Jean Monnet project “Subnational Gender Equality: Balancing EU Values and Ukrainian Realities” – a step towards strengthening international scientific cooperation was held.
About 20 participants, representatives of the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University joined the event.
Eugene Sobol, Rector of the University, Lilia Klochek, acting Vice-Rector for Research, Tetyana Fursikova, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technologies addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speeches.
The goal of the project “Subnational Gender Equality: Balance of EU Values and Ukrainian Realities” was presented by Kateryna Akbash. Natalia Pasichnyk highlighted the context of working with target groups in gender education. Renat Rizhniak presented the project implementation and the role of the interdisciplinary research center of applied research in the scientific examination of its results.
Veronika Tkachenko, NEO in Ukraine manager, joined the discussion and emphasized that the project synergizes with previous projects at the university, improves teaching and research within the university, dialogue between the scientific world and society, and gains new knowledge about the EU role. The priorities of the new Erasmus+ Programme 2021-2027, as well as opportunities within the Programme calls are also highlighted.
